Kyle Richards Reveals How Assets Would Be Split if She Divorced Mauricio Umansky

It is painfully obvious that there are cracks in Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky’s marriage. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills viewers have seen it, and it is awkward. Of course, after Season 13 wrapped, news broke that the couple was separated. But now, Kyle is talking about divorce and how their assets would be split. Everything just got real.

Earlier in the season, Kyle revealed that she isn’t fond of her husband’s social media activity with other women. And when Mauricio missed the Celebration of Life event for Kyle’s best friend, all of her co-stars were shocked. Mauricio has also been seen out with other ladies, while Kyle has been hanging out with her good buddy, singer Morgan Wade.

Kyle and Mauricio didn’t have a prenup

Kyle was a guest on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live and shared what would happen if the duo were to divorce. “We did not have a prenup,” Kyle told host Jeff Lewis. “My husband did not have a penny when I married him.”

“It’s very clean-cut. Everything’s half, regardless. That’s not an issue for me. We would probably just keep our homes,” Kyle explained. “We’re not a toxic couple. You never would seeing fighting in our home ever … We would just go our separate ways and maybe keep the houses.” Easy peasy, right?

Kyle also stated that she would not stay in the marriage for monetary reasons. Jeff commented that some couples never divorce but decide to live separate lives. But Kyle shot down that option.

“If we’re not going to be together, I would get divorced,” Kyle said. “One hundred percent. I would not live like that, because psychologically, I would need to move on. I would never do that just for properties.”

It sounds like the dreaded “D” word is coming up more and more. I am rooting for these two to reconcile, but lately, the signs seem to be pointing to Splitsville.
