Kylie Jenner is back at Paris Fashion Week doing her almost-customary Schaparelli appearance. The starlet, who has become a show regular during creative director Daniel Roseberry’s tenure, waved to photographers at the show wearing a black dress and a pair of trend black mules.
For the show, Jenner wore a little black dress. The design was relatively simple: it was a body con mid-length dress with black on black seams that cinched in the waist. The halter straps of the dress were in white and featured a criss-cross design. The Khy founder wore large gold bangle bracelets as well as heavily styled, curly brown hair.
For shoes, Jenner stuck with a major 2024 footwear trend. She wore a pair of open-toe mules. Though simple, the shoes are from Schiaparelli which has its brand name written inside the sole, visible as Jenner walked.
The shoe was made of black velvet and included a round toe box.
But Jenner wasn’t the only one in an open-toe mule. Actress Kelly Rutherford wore the company’s Bijoux style mule. Also in velvet, this brown shoe incorporates an S-shape heel, encrusted in pearls and gold rhinestones. While Rutherford’s was brown, Leonie Hanne wore the Bijoux in black.
Schiaparelli took to social media on Wednesday to tease one of its new spring 2025 footwear styles ahead of its ready-to-wear show Thursday night in Paris. In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the French luxury brand showcased a two-toned version of what appears to be its Trompe-L’oeil Toe Mules. The shoes appear alongside the caption, “#SCHIAPARELLI READY-TO-WEAR SS25 BY #DANIELROSEBERRY. THURSDAY 7 PM, PARIS.”
Mules have been a strong trend throughout 2024 on red carpets as well as as on the runway at fashion shows. Katy Perry wore a PVC mule in Australia yesterday from Paris Texas. At the Mugler show earlier today, a number of stars wore close-toed mules. Those shoes, in leather and suede, were from the company’s Fang series and were sported by Anitta, Laverne Cox and Normani.
Schiaparelli has plans to put even more mules on the runway show that Kylie Jenner is attending. The brand teased toe-molded Surrealist style mules in a variety of colors on social media this week.
