Kylie Kelce gave an unruly fan a close and personal lesson of why you don't mess with a Philly girl over Memorial Day weekend, in an incident that was captured on video and has since gone viral. And if anything, it's only further endeared herself to Kelce's fellow Philadelphians, who quickly jumped to her defense.

According to the Philly Chitchat website, Jason Kelce and his wife had been spending the holiday weekend in Sea Isle City, NJ, where they reportedly own a home. On Saturday evening, the Kelces headed to a popular local restaurant, Steve & Cookies by the Sea in nearby Margate, on a date night with another couple. However, as they pulled into the busy parking lot, they had been waiting for a spot to open up when a woman apparently recognized Kelce's famous Tesla Cybertruck.

According to a since-deleted post on social media, via Crossing Broad, one bystander who witnessed the incident said that the female fan was "rude as hell" and proceeded to bang on their car door. When the couple exited the vehicle, the fan demanded a photo, which the Kelces apparently politely declined, telling her it wasn’t a good time.

In a video clip posted to Instagram by the Philadelphia-based podcast Word to the Wise, the woman could be heard screaming at Kylie, who firmly stood her ground. "You’ll never be allowed in this town again," the woman could be heard shouting at the mother of three, who retorted, "I can smell the alcohol on your breath, you’re embarrassing yourself," just before the video cut off.

The couple did not let the encounter ruin their night, however, as other eyewitness reports said that they "had a lovely evening," and were seen laughing and enjoying their meals. A few people reportedly even walked by their table to say hello, including Sixers owner Michael Rubin. After dinner, they were said to have headed to another local hotspot down the street, where they were seen hanging out with the crowds.

However, as the video of the altercation, fans rallied around Kylie, noting that the nearly six-foot-tall former field hockey player showed restraint, if anything.

"Forget the fact that Kylie Kelce is a college athlete built like brick wall and about 10 inches taller than 'Karen,'" posted X user Joshua Gale. "If you see Jason f--king Kelce just back up to give his wife space, you know some s--t is about to go down.

"That woman from Sea Isle doesn’t realize by going after Kylie Kelce she’s brought the two scariest groups in the world together: Philadelphia sports fans and Swifties," quipped another user.

"Whoa do not mess with Kylie Kelce," wrote Philly Chitchat founder HughE Dillon. "Kylie and Jason Kelce do not owe you anything. Let them live their lives. They were very accommodating to people on beach over the weekend but if they are on a date night, do not bother them."

A September 2023 clip from Kelce's New Heights podcast also began making the rounds, in which Kylie did not mince words when it comes to her husband. "Well let me just say, I am almost six feet tall, and I'm not thin. I will hold my ground, that's mine," she said at the time, gesturing to Jason.

Neither Jason nor Kylie have personally commented on what occurred, but it seems safe to say someone is probably no longer welcome around certain parts of the southern New Jersey shore, and it's not them.
