The Los Angeles sports worlds and fashion are converging with Russell Westbrook’s latest collection for his brand Honor the Gift.

The NBA star has collaborated with NFL’s Los Angeles Rams, bringing together his love of basketball and football. An L.A. native, Westbrook looked to create a line that embodies the connection between sports.

“I grew up playing football. Football is my first sport,” Westbrook said.

The new capsule, out Thursday, features six pieces: a short-sleeve T-shirt, long-sleeve T-shirt, hoodie, matching track jacket and track pants and jacket. The items can be worn to games or out, he said, but are made for “the after hours” — the time spent after games in L.A. He’s continuously inspired by the city’s vibrant culture.

“It’s about the inner city after hours,” he explained. “What does that look like? What do you wear? That’s what we created the collection around.”

Westbrook tapped local L.A. celebrities and talents for the new campaign, filmed at SoFi Stadium. It features Westbrook himself, along with L.A. Rams players Cooper Kupp, Demarcus Robinson, Quentin Lake; L.A. Rams cheerleaders; creative director and streetwear figure Kacey Lynch; TikTok star Isaiah Garza; musicians Mikhala and Ncognita; Hotville Chicken founder Kim Prince; radio host DJ Hed; members of Westbrook’s organization Why Not Foundation, and star high school basketball players Tajh Ariza, Jason Crowe Jr., Tounde Yessoufou, Brannon Martinsen, Amalia Holguin, Brieana Brown and Tatianna Griffin. The campaign soundtrack showcases L.A.-based rapper Dom Kennedy.

The collection will be available on honorthegift.co, ramsfanshop.com and nflshop.com, as well as at Honor the Gift’s retail flagship in L.A. and the Rams’ official store, The Equipment Room at SoFi Stadium.

Rams, in a statement. “Together, we’re not just blending style and athletics; we’re celebrating the vibrant culture of L.A. and inspiring fans to express their passion in a whole new way.”
