Hot Frosty follows widow Kathy (Chabert), who is going through a rough stretch until she uses a magical scarf to bring attractive snowman Jack (Milligan) to life. The pair begin to fall for each other but have limited time before he starts to melt.

“Clearly, you’ve been doing your push-ups,” Chabert tells the well-toned snowman before his transformation.

Later, Jack (Milligan) tells a neighbor, “I’ve never been on a date before. I need your help with Kathy.”

Ciccoritti helmed the Christmas movie from a script by Russell Hainline. Joel S. Rice and Michael Barbuto are producers on the film.

Hot Frosty is part of a Netflix’s holiday slate of movies, with a different title getting released every Wednesday throughout the month of November. This includes the Christina Milian vehicle Meet Me Next Christmas launching Nov. 6, and the Lindsay Lohan-led Our Little Secret debuting Nov. 27.

Chabert is known for Mean Girls and Party of Five, in addition to having starred in a long list of Hallmark Channel holiday rom-coms.

Milligan has been a series regular on Schitt’s Creek and Rutherford Falls. He also has a role in the horror flick Shell, which stars Elisabeth Moss and Kate Hudson and premiered last month at the Toronto International Film Festival.
