The ladies of Fifth Harmony go head to head in an epic 'Lip Sync Battle'
Powerhouse girl group Fifth Harmony went head to head on Lip Sync Battle to see who would take home the belt. It’s up to the audience who wins, and Normani, Lauren, Ally, and Dinah all got one shot to win the the crowd’s heart.
Normani kicked things off performing “Bootylicious” by Destiny’s Child. Her performance could have gone off the rails near the beginning when one of her backup dancers tripped and fell right in front of her as she walked toward the crowd. But Normani was unfazed and just stepped over the poor woman.
Next, Lauren performed “Rehab,” the smash hit by R&B singer Amy Winehouse. Lauren went above and beyond to look like the late singer; she wore Winehouse’s signature beehive and even had tattoos drawn on.
Ally did a medley for her performance, combining songs from two of her heroes: the late Selena and the great Jennifer Lopez. The performance started off slow but ended up in a flashy, booty-shaking finale as the crowd chanted her name.
And Dinah summoned her inner Dwayne Johnson as she performed “You’re Welcome” from the Disney hit Moana. And needless to say, she … rocked.
In the end, the crowd favorite was clear: Ally took home the belt.
Lip Sync Battle airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on Paramount Network.
