‘Lady In The Mask’ Psychological Thriller Drama From Amblin TV Set At the CW
The CW has put in development Lady in the Mask, a drama from Amblin TV and CBS Television Studios.
Written by Thomas Brandon, Lady in the Mask is a psychological thriller set in a near future where people can back-up their minds like they back-up their computer. It centers on a woman who awakens in the hospital after a suspicious car accident and learns her memory was damaged and restored from a two-year-old “back-up.” As she tries to return to her seemingly loving husband, high-profile job in her family’s tech VC firm, and otherwise normal life, the details about her missing years begin to contradict one another, leading her to believe she’s being manipulated by someone close to her, that the accident was no accident and that she’s at the center of a much larger conspiracy — unless she’s just losing her mind.
Amblin TV’s Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey executive produce. Brandon serves as co-executive producer.
In addition to Lady in the Mask, Brandon is writing Tapped, a drama in the works at Freeform from former The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley and Pretty Little Liars developer/showrunner I. Marlene King.
Brandon is repped by Paradigm and Lee Stobby at Lee Stobby Entertainment.
