5. “wait in the truck” (2023)

While yes, this song is technically by HARDY featuring Lainey Wilson, it was a win for the both of them. It paints a clear picture of a woman abused by her partner and the man who comes to her aid, putting an end to it.

4. “Dirty Looks” (2021)

3. “Watermelon Moonshine” (2022)

This lighthearted country track recalls the bliss of young love in the summertime, in which Wilson looks back on fond memories with her first love, drinking none other than watermelon moonshine before they were old enough.

2. “Things a Man Oughta Know” (2021)

Lainey begins the song by listing things she can do that a man traditionally is expected to know how to do, like change a tire or catch a fish, before going into the deeper things she would hope  a man could get a grip on, like “How to know when it's love/How to stay when it's tough/How to know you're messin' up a good thing/And how to fix it 'fore it's too late.”

1. “Heart Like a Truck” (2022)

“Heart Like a Truck” not only showcases the songstress’ vocals, but lyrically, it’s truly a winner. On the track, Wilson compares her heart and soul to a truck, saying much like the vehicle, she has a desire to keep moving and despite the journey and roads it’s gone down, it’s still just as good.

“I got a heart like a truck/It's been drug through the mud/Runs on dreams and gasoline/And that ole highway holds the key/It's got a lead foot down when it's leaving/Lord knows it's taken a hell of a beating/A little bit of love is all that it's needing/But it's good as it is tough/I got a heart like a truck.”
