Lana Del Rey’s “Ultraviolence” album has yet to receive a solid release date, but the chanteuse’s follow-up to “Born To Die” will arrive after a tidal wave of achievements, including her Top 10 hit “Summertime Sadness,” the acclaimed “Great Gatsby” soundtrack single “Young & Beautiful” and her provocative short film “Tropico.” Lily Allen has also been pushing boundaries ever since returning to music with her biting “Hard Out Here” song and video in November; that track, along with her fizzy single “Air Balloon,” will be part of her “Sheezus” album, due out May 6.

Shakira’s self-titled album will be the first of the bunch to arrive, as the Colombian superstar’s latest English-language full-length — featuring the steamy Rihanna duet “Can’t Remember To Forget You” and the powerful ballad “Empire” — will arrive on March 25. One week later, Christina Perri at long last returns with “Head to Heart”: the “Jar of Hearts” singer has already scored a hit with the moving ballad “Human,” and recently unveiled another new track, “Burning Gold.” Finally, Mariah Carey’s next album has been given a May 6 release date after numerous delays, and to whet fans’ appetite for her return, the singer released the single “You’re Mine (Eternal),” which recently became her first solo Hot 100 entry in years.
