Lance Reddick, Treat Williams and Suzanne Somers Among Stars Left Out of Main In Memoriam Segment at 2024 Oscars
Ron Cephas Jones, Norman Lear, Terence Davies and Burt Young were also omitted from Sunday's main memorial segment, though their names appeared on a slide at the end
The 2024 Oscars had a powerful In Memoriam segment on Sunday, but not every late star got their full moment of recognition.
During Sunday's Academy Awards ceremony, the actors, filmmakers and Hollywood-industry individuals who died over the past year were honored during the moving portion of the show.
However, fans noticed that some stars were left out of the main segment, which included an individual slide with their photo, name and title. Instead, a group of stars were listed at the end on one collective slide.
Among those people were actors Lance Reddick, Treat Williams, Ron Cephas Jones, Suzanne Somers, and Burt Young, legendary screenwriter and producer Norman Lear, and British filmmaker Terence Davies.
