Larry June Takes Center Stage At Puffcon Block Party 2024
At Puffcon’s 2024 Los Angeles Block Party, the hash community united for a night of good music, good food, and of course, a good dab. The annual event, which has expanded from approximately 2,500 attendees in its 2021 inaugural kickoff to about 8,000 attendees, saw a line wrapped around the block of Puffco users excited for the festivities. Arriving at the outdoor event near sunset, only the sounds blaring from the DJ booth were louder than the smell of weed as ticketholders slowly filed into the downtown L.A. lot, reimagined as a hash user’s paradise.
The event featured 600 vendors/artists representing both local brands and national retailers, as well as live glass-blowing demos and newly added carnival rides. Interactive charts allowed customers to indicate their level of high with colorful stickers and also vote for the hue of the next edition of the Puffco Proxy.

As the main stage performances began, the crowd mostly shifted to the staging area from vendor booths and food truck lines. With Alchemist serving as the DJ in between artist sets, the audience enjoyed old-school and new school Hip-Hop, much of it produced by the turntable maestro. Additionally, an attempt at setting the world record for the largest group dab kept the affair alive.
Starting with 2 Dead Boyz, That Mexican OT, Action Bronson, and Human Growth Hormone opened for headliner Larry June who brought his organic movement to the event for the first time. His performance featured tracks such as “Clocked In” produced by Cardo and “Tracy, CA” before being joined by Alchemist for “60 Days.” Jay Worthy also popped out and supported his frequent collaborator with an appearance.

While the event provided a space for hash, dab, and all cannabis connoisseurs to shop, dine, and indulge, the growing imprint resulted in long wait times which organizers assure to asses and revamp.
“Puffcon 2024 was a platform for the plant and the people who gather around it to shine. The food, music, and rides are fun – but the growing collective we’ve built together is always the highlight. It’s a vibe that words and videos could never capture,” shared the brand.
“We doubled the food, water stations, and vendors, but we still have work to do on getting people in much faster. Anything less than a perfect experience simply won’t do – and we look forward to delivering on that. We appreciate your patience, kindness, and the love you fill this event with.”
