Larry Sanders’ Ex-Fiancée Shows Video Of BIG3 Player Apologizing After Allegedly Punching Her In Lip
Update: 12:57 p.m. ET (Aug. 21, 2024) – Larry Sanders’ ex-fiancee has provided a statement to VIBE regarding the sensitive footage circulating:
“I just want a healthy co-parent relationship for my son. That will always be my goal with or without the courts involved. I want my son to experience the best sides of BOTH HIS PARENTS. I’m in therapy and working to make sure I show up for myself and him. I can only hope Larry does the same,” she stated.

BIG3 basketball player, Larry Sanders, is in hot water as his now ex-fiancé, Holli J, has exposed him in a sensitive video where he allegedly punched her in the lip.
A clip of the former NBA player began circulating on Tuesday (Aug. 20), showing him apologizing and literally on his knees begging for forgiveness for “accidentally falling” and hitting her.
“You just punched me in my mouth,” Holli can be heard saying as the 35-year-old is shown frantically apologizing and then denying that he struck her on purpose. “I’m so sorry, I fell,” he bizarrely says before she asks, “So you fell and hit me with your fist?” and he agrees.
“I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to hit you,” he pleads. In another part of the video, the professional athlete can be seen on his knees crying and telling the mother of his son, “I need you, I put that on my life… on everything.” See below.
The beauty influencer and aesthetician commented underneath a repost of the sensitive footage asserting that she’s done “protecting” Sanders as she has “cried in silence” multiple times.
“I’m done with protecting this ‘MAN’ I just want my baby y’all,” she wrote. “Everyone has downtimes and I was down I lost my job and my son the same week and went crazy. Sh*t happens but sh*t like this should NEVER HAPPEN !!!!! In silence l’ve cried and cried in silence now I’m crying out loud. Just hug me y’all I need it. I just need justice and peace! Tag him and his lawyer.. @big3 I let him walk this summer but this is the ‘MAN’ y’all have representing y’all smh sad.”
The two welcomed their only son back in April 2021, two years after Sanders proposed to Holli at a BIG3 basketball game.
VIBE has reached out to Larry Sanders for comment, but has yet to receive a response as of publication.
