‘Late Late Show’ Technical Difficulties Cause Shia LaBeouf to Panic
The Late Late Show With James Corden started off great on Tuesday, with guests Shia LaBeouf, Rachel Bloom, and Cobie Smulders all holding hands. But things took a dark turn when the studio lights crashed.
In the middle of the interview portion, the stage lights appeared to dim, causing a bit of panic among the guests. LaBeouf thought it was because the four celebrities had stopped holding hands. Not only did he want the guests to hold hands, he asked the entire audience to hold hands.
When LaBeouf realized that the downed lights weren’t part of some trick, he told Corden, “I thought you were just f***ing with me.”
The lights finally came back on and the show was able to proceed as usual.
The Late Late Show With James Corden airs weeknights at 12:37 p.m./11:37 p.m. CT on CBS.
