Lauren Sanchez Celebrates Christian Louboutin and d’Adda Collaboration in NYC Wearing Classic Pointed Pumps

Lauren Sanchez was in attendance at a swanky fashion soirée in New York City on Oct. 23 which celebrated a Christian Louboutin collaboration with d’Adda. For the cocktail gathering, Sanchez stepped into a pair of beige pumps to accompany a glimmering gold and green dress from Gucci.
Sanchez posted a mirror selfie to her Instagram Story with the caption, “Fun getting dressed up to celebrate @louboutinworld and @cocodadda.” The photo revealed her full outfit, which appeared to include this lace dress from Gucci, marked at a price of $11,500. The dress was tightly fitted and the light yellow lower portion was adorned with a smattering of gold sequins forming a lattice-like pattern. The piece introduced colorblocking with a dark green lacy bust and kept things dainty with delicate spaghetti straps.
The journalist and children’s book author complemented the sumptuous dress with a neutral-hued pump. In a light beige shade, her patent leather pumps blended in harmoniously with the yellow and green color palette. Boasting a traditional pump silhouette, the shoes brought sharp angles to the outfit with narrowly pointed toes. Christian Louboutin offers a wide array of pumps, with the famous So Kate style bearing resemblance to Sanchez’s shoe. A patent leather beige version of the pump retails for $795 from the designer label. The original So Kate features a soaring 120 mm stiletto heel.
Sanchez previously wore a pair of glossy beige Louboutin pumps while promoting her book “The Fly Who Flew to Space” in September. She is a noted fan of the brand, having recently worn a platform beige pump at a Diane von Furstenberg event.
Coco D’adda, who collaborated with Louboutin on the collection featuring vintage fabrics, took to social media to offer backstory on the launch and her friendship with the French designer. Sarah Jessica Parker, a shoe aficionado on and off screen, commented on the post what many other fashion lovers might be thinking: “How do we find??! X.”
