Lauren Sanchez Wears Blue Le Silla Pumps To Promote Her Children's Book On 'Good Day New York'
Lauren Sanchez celebrated the launch of her new children’s book, “The Fly Who Flew to Space” in a chic pair of pointed-toe pumps in New York City on Thursday night, and her fiancé Jeff Bezos was also in attendance.
Crafted with patent leather material, the Christian Louboutin pumps were characterized by its elongated pointed construction in the upper, and splashed a neutral beige color that provided an elegant contrast to her dark blue dress along with the designer’s trademark red soles. Boasting a minimalistic design, the silhouette was completed by a stiletto heel measuring roughly 3-to-4 inches in height.
As for the rest of her ensemble, the entrepreneur opted for a simplistic strapless halter dress by Oscar de la renta, which featured a rich dark navy blue color. Keeping her accessories simple with a few bracelets by Le Vian and Kallati with a pair of gold drop earrings by Nicole Rose, the author styled her dark locks simply and kept her makeup neutral. The cocktail event, which took place in Sanchez and Jeff’s apartment, was co-hosted by Jessica Seinfeld, and featured a special conversation between Sanchez and Anderson Cooper.
The discussion detailed Sanchez sharing the many different inspirations behind her book, including her experiences growing up with dyslexia.
The evening concluded with a surprise birthday celebration for Jessica Seinfeld, which added a memorable touch to the gathering.
Sanchez’s choice of pumps are in-line with what celebrities and public figures are choosing for their fall wardrobe, as it is regarded as a preferred shoe for red carpets and formal occasions. The year 2024 has seen the style trend on an upward swing with stylists recommending pointed shoes to achieve simple and classic looks for the fall and winter seasons.
The angular toe-box and sharp stiletto heel is what makes the silhouette so preferred, as it can be paired with a range of different outfit choices. Various designers including Chanel and Valentino offer pointed-toe models regularly as a part of their catalog, and the style is to continue being a major trend throughout the remainder of 2024 and into 2025.
