Layzie Bone Addresses Krayzie Bone Hospitalization: “Your Prayers Are A Beacon Of Hope”

Layzie Bone addressed Krayzie Bone’s recent hospitalization. On Tuesday (Sept. 26), Layzie took to Instagram to show love to his longtime bandmate. The rapper, né Steven Howse, opened up about this “challenging” time and that they needed to “come together” to get through it. He also uploaded a picture of himself posing with Wish Bone, Flesh-n-Bone, and Krayzie Bone.

“In this challenging moment, as the immediate and Bone thugs family rallies behind my brother, we humbly ask for a moment of privacy,” he typed. “Our family is facing the unexpected hospitalization of Krayzie Bone with strength, and your prayers are a beacon of hope.”

“Soon, we’ll share an update, but for now, let us come together and keep our love and thoughts focused on his recovery. Your support means the world to us, and we truly appreciate your understanding during this time.”

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony friends and frequent collaborators jumped in the comments to show their support. Figures such as Chilli, Fat Joe, Lil Eazy E, Twista, Da Brat, Bill Bellamy, and more showed love to the group.

According to AllHipHop, Krayzie Bone is reportedly fighting for his life in the hospital. The melodic emcee is currently in critical condition after an intense cardiovascular condition. The Bone Thugs-N-Harmony emcee was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital on Friday (Sept. 22) after allegedly coughing up blood.

The outlet reported that the rapper underwent CAT scans with analysis showing a leaky artery present in his lung. The entertainer, né Anthony Henderson, was then subjected to an emergency surgery to halt the bleeding. However, his artery failed to stop bleeding, and Henderson was placed on a breathing machine.

The sad news arrives a month after the group was honored with their own street in Cleveland. In August 2023, the City of Cleveland held a two-hour ceremony honoring Bone Thugs. The event occurred at the intersection the quintet popularized in their music. The group paid homage to the streets on their 1995 album E. 1999 Eternal.
