LeAnn Rimes to perform at Cathedral City's 10th Hot Air Balloon Festival this fall
LeAnn Rimes will be performing in Cathedral City during the 10th anniversary of the city's International Hot Air Balloon Festival in November.
The festival features hot air balloons, food and entertainment. The city increased the 2024 festival's budget by $100,000 to bring in a headliner like Rimes, according to Ryan Hunt, Cathedral City’s communication and events manager.
Mayor Mark Carnevale announced the news of Rimes' concert during Cathedral City's State of the City on Tuesday, an event that city officials use to share what they've been working on, and to announce updates like new businesses or housing projects.
"We can't wait to welcome you and thousands of attendees as we pack the amphitheater for what should be an incredible, memorable 10th anniversary celebration of one of the valley's most popular events," Carnevale said.
