LeBron James Shares a First Look at the Unreleased Nike LeBron 22

NBA superstar LeBron James has the longest-running signature sneaker line of any active athlete and as expected, the feat will be extended soon with the launch of his latest model.
James on Friday took to his Instagram Stories to share the first glimpse at the upcoming Nike LeBron 22. “Wear test! XX2 on thee way!,” James captioned the teaser image of his 22nd signature sneaker with the Beaverton, Ore.-based sportswear brand.
The preview doesn’t reveal many details of the look, but it does confirm that the pair will continue to utilize a low-cut silhouette, first introduced on the Nike LeBron 20. James’ photo shows a black-and-grey colorway with a marbled-like pattern across the upper, the tip of a large Swoosh logo across the lateral side and “XX2” branding on the front of the toe’s rubber outsole.
A March 2024 leak reported by Sneaker Files indicates the Nike LeBron 22 will also be released in the form of an officially licensed collaboration with the board game Monopoly. That information has yet to be confirmed by any of the parties involved.
Along with his Nike LeBron 22 teaser, James showed off another unreleased sneaker Saturday in Las Vegas while attending the Aces game against the New York Liberty. Accompanied by his wife, Savannah James, agent Rich Paul and NBA stars Damian Lillard and Bam Adebayo, LeBron laced up a pair of Union’s upcoming Nike Field General collaboration. That pair is due to be released on June 27.
As for the Nike LeBron 22, a release date has not been announced, but early leaks point to a Holiday 2024 launch window with an expected retail price of $180 in adult sizes and $140 for grade school.
