Lee Majors' Dating History: From Farrah Fawcett to Faith Majors

Lee Majors has been married to his fourth wife Faith for over 20 years

Actor Lee Majors sprang to fame when he took on the role of Heath Barkley in the 1960s series The Big Valley. His career has also been filled with a number of high-profile relationships, particularly his second marriage to actress Farrah Fawcett.

Majors and Fawcett were undoubtedly one of Hollywood's power couples during the '70s. Following their split, he was married to his third wife, Karen Velez, for 10 years. Majors has been with his fourth wife, Faith Majors, for over 25 years.

"It is a record in Hollywood," he told PEOPLE of their long-time relationship in 2019.

In addition to his marriages, The Fall Guy star was briefly linked to Sally Field and Patti Chandler in the '60s. He also shares children with two of his former wives. He welcomed a son with his first wife, Kathy Robinson, in 1962 and had three kids with Velez.

From his highly-publicized romance with Fawcett to his long-lasting love with Faith, here's a look at Lee Majors' dating history.

Kathy Robinson

Majors reportedly met Robinson in 1959 when they were both students at Eastern Kentucky University. They married in 1961 and welcomed their son, Lee Majors II, the following year. However, Majors and Robinson split a few years later.

Their son went on to become an actor like Majors.

Patti Chandler

The Six Million Dollar Man star dated actress Chandler for about three years in the mid-1960s. In 1966, he told Minneapolis' Star Tribune that he had met Chandler on a studio-arranged blind date. Chandler even appeared in an episode of The Big Valley.

During their relationship, the couple were photographed on numerous occasions, including with Majors' young son. Majors told the Star Tribune he even housed Chandler's pet boa constrictor at his California ranch for a time.

Sally Field

Also in the '60s, Majors was briefly connected to actress Field. Though neither has directly addressed their rumored romance, Majors did reference Field in his 1981 single “Unknown Stuntman.”

In the tune, Majors sang, “Well I'm not the kind to kiss and tell, but I've been seen with Farrah / I've never been with anything less than a nine, so fine / I've been on fire with Sally Field.”

The actress went on to marry her first husband, Steven Craig, with whom she shares two sons, in 1968, though the split five years later. She was later married to Alan Greisman for 10 years, with whom she shares one son.

Farrah Fawcett

Majors met actress Fawcett in 1968 through a publicist. When he arrived to pick her up on their first date, Fawcett recalled "melting into a thousand pieces," she told PEOPLE in 1976. "It was love at first sight, I guess."

The Charlie's Angels star and Majors wed in 1973 and the two became one of the most famous couples in Hollywood at the time. "It was hard to get around," Majors reflected to PEOPLE of their fame in 2019. "It was not quite as hard as it is today with everyone has a cellphone and the social media is so quick. Back then we only had to deal with the paparazzi at large. A lot of time you could evade them, but not all the time."

Their marriage lasted until 1979 when they announced their separation. "When Lee married me, he married a very compliant person who just wanted to cook his meals, clean his house and be dependent," she told PEOPLE at the time. "I still like to cook his meals and clean his house, but I'm not dependent anymore. I feel so bad for Lee. I care about him so much, and he is trying to be understanding and protecting."

Majors later said, "I love Farrah and I always will." They finalized their divorce in 1982.

When Fawcett died of cancer in 2009, Majors paid tribute to his ex-wife, telling PEOPLE, “She fought a tremendous battle against a terrible disease. She was an angel on earth and now an angel forever.”

Karen Velez

Following his divorce from Fawcett, Majors went on to wed Playboy model Velez in 1988. The pair had three children together before they divorced in 1994, citing irreconcilable differences.

"It was a very amicable divorce," their spokesperson, Paul Bloch, said in a statement.

Faith Majors

Majors met his current wife, Faith, in the '90s and the pair wed in 2002. She has worked as a model, actor and writer.

Faith has joined Majors on dozens of red carpets over the years, including the Oscars, Emmys and the SAG Awards.

In 2019, Majors told PEOPLE of their long-time relationship, “It is a record in Hollywood.”
