Liam Almost Learned Something On Bold and the Beautiful September 11

Liam took his hat in his hand, and went to apologize to Finn on the September 11 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. Their subsequent discussion even taught Liam something about how to be a supportive husband…almost.

A Better Man

Liam (Scott Clifton) thanked Finn (Tanner Novlan) for finding and rescuing Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) from the depths of Luna’s (Lisa Yamada) evil deeds. Finn seemed somewhat taken aback by Liam’s words.

As Finn explained to Liam that he merely did his job as Steffy’s husband, we could see the wheels in Liam’s head turning. He knows that he kissed Steffy two times without her permission. Those two kisses haven’t come to light yet, either.

As the two men continued talking, Finn sincerely told Liam that his entire goal and purpose in life was to keep Steffy and the kids safe. That contrasts with how Liam has been when he’s been Steffy’s partner. In fact, it almost looked like Liam was glad to hear that Steffy had somebody so devoted to her. Could it be that Liam realized in those moments that Finn really was “the one” for Steffy? It sure seemed like he was coming close to that realization. Liam absolutely seemed to feel guilty, and he should. He should feel guilty that he kissed Steffy and that he wasn’t a good husband to her.

Secrets Secrets

Of course, now that the fallout over Hope (Annika Noelle) kissing Finn is over, and Steffy and Finn are back on solid ground, we know that the kissing secret likely won’t keep. Is there any way that Liam might find himself fighting for Finn when it all comes out instead of for Steffy? We could almost see it. Of course, Finn isn’t going to be able to easily look past what Liam did, and he likely won’t be happy Steffy didn’t own up to it the way he did when he immediately told her about Hope.
