Liam Payne was ‘kicked out’ of another hotel for ‘being a nuisance’ days before his death: report
Liam Payne was reportedly “kicked out” of a different hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, days before he plummeted to his death.
Sources claim the 31-year-old star was forced to leave Palacio Duhau — Park Hyatt Buenos Aires and appeared to be under the influence before eventually checking into the CasaSur Hotel, where he met his demise on Oct. 16.
An insider told People magazine that Payne was asked to leave Palacio Duhau “because he was being a nuisance and disturbing the other guests and appeared intoxicated.”
The Post has reached out to Palacio Duhau — Park Hyatt Buenos Aires.
Payne died after plunging from the third-floor balcony at the CasaSur Hotel on Wednesday.
The One Direction alum fractured his skull and died instantly from “very serious injuries,” according to Buenos Aires Emergency Services Chief Alberto Crescenti. He also suffered internal and external hemorrhages in the skull, thorax, abdomen and limbs, which “contributed to the mechanism of death,” per the autopsy.
While officials initially said Payne had “jumped,” the autopsy report said he fell.
Communications Director for the Buenos Aires Security Ministry Pablo Policicchio told Page Six that investigators are still working to determine if the tragedy was accidental or intentional; however, they do not feel a third party was involved.
Payne was allegedly “acting erratic” in the hotel lobby before his death. Eyewitnesses claimed the “Teardrops” singer smashed his laptop and had to be carried to his room.
A hotel guest also alleged they heard “a really loud, violent scream” coming from Payne’s room, claiming they witnessed the facility’s staff “going in and out” of the singer’s hotel room around 4:30 p.m. local time.
Argentinian officials received a 911 call around 5 p.m. from the hotel manager, claiming Payne was “on drugs and alcohol” and “breaking up the whole room.”
The manager also warned that Payne had a balcony, expressing fear he would harm himself.
The “Strip That Down” singer was reportedly “extremely overwhelmed” in the days leading up to his death after allegedly being dropped from his music label and hit with a legal dispute by his ex-fiancée, Maya Henry.
Two days before the fatal fall, Payne’s girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, fled Buenos Aires without the singer. The pair had been in Argentina for two weeks and attended former One Direction singer Niall Horan’s show on Oct. 2.
Cassidy broke her silence about Payne’s death on Friday.
Saying she’s at a “complete loss,” Payne’s girlfriend shared that “nothing about the past few days have felt real.”
“Liam, my angel. You are everything. I want you to know I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you Liam,” Cassidy wrote in part.
The pair started dating in 2022.
Payne’s former One Direction bandmates released a joint statement on Thursday. They paid tribute with individual posts as well.
