‘Life in Pieces’ Preview: Greg and Jen Help His Parents With ‘The Facebook’
We’ve all experienced the frustration of dealing with the more social media-challenged among us, but Greg and wife, Jen, get to experience the next level of familial pain when John and Joan forget their Facebook password on Thursday’s new episode of Life in Pieces.
When the Short family parents lose their password for “The Facebook,” as they call it, they barge into Greg and Jen’s house in a panic, desperately seeking password recovery help. And they have questions. A lot of questions. Will a new password work at their house, too? Will it work at Tim and Heather’s house? Will it work on John’s phone? And Joan’s phone? Will it work on Tim and Heather’s phone?
Greg — the proud mayor of the game Petville (as voted on by his “catstituency” and the Itty Bitty Kitty Committee) — and Jen consider themselves to be Facebook savvy, but John and Joan are really testing the limits of their patience, especially when John wonders, “Once it’s on my phone, how do I get it over to my computer?”
Elsewhere in the “Facebook Fish Planner Backstage” episode, country crooner Lyle Lovett guest stars as Ned Gawler, Matt and Colleen’s unique wedding planner who also runs another business that does not inspire confidence in Matt that his wedding will be a happy occasion, while Charlie Puth makes a cameo as Tim’s patient, who gifts the dentist with a pair of tickets to the Grammys.
Life in Pieces airs Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. on CBS.
