Lindsay Lohan Shares Major Life Update for Son Luai: 'I Feel Blessed'
Lindsay Lohan's motherhood journey just keeps getting sweeter.
The Freaky Friday actress recently opened up about her son Luai's latest life stage—and it sounds like it might be his most adorable one yet.
While chatting with Entertainment Tonight during a red carpet event in New York City on Sunday, Sept. 9, Lohan, 38, revealed that her 14-month-old child has officially entered the talking stage.
"He's starting the talking now," she said, adding that the little one is getting "cuter every day" now that he's getting more vocal.
"Blessed. I feel blessed," the Parent Trap star said, adding that she's "really grateful" to be a mother to Luai, whom she shares with husband Bader Shammas.
Lohan and Shammas, who tied the knot in April 2022, announced that they were expecting in March 2023, revealing the news via social media with a photo of a baby onesie that read "Coming soon..."
"We are blessed and excited! ????????," Lohan wrote at the time, before later sharing more photos from throughout her pregnancy journey.
The first-time parents later confirmed their baby boy's arrival in July 2023, after the Mean Girls actress gave birth to Luai in Dubai, where the couple lives.
"Having a baby is the greatest joy in the world!" Lohan wrote on Instagram in the weeks after her son's birth, while sharing a mirror selfie to show off her postpartum body.
"I am so proud of what this body was able to accomplish during these months of pregnancy and now, recovery," she wrote at the time, adding, "I'm not a regular mom, I'm a postpartum mom."
