Generate Key Takeaways

I am a huge fan of Lisa Barlow on the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. So far, she can do no wrong in my book. The mother of two is iconic but never for reasons that she intends, which is what makes her such a great housewife. Even though there are times that Lisa can come across as self-centered (“I love myself, I don’t care what you think”), she is the most natural within her role. I find her extremely entertaining and am not alone in that thought process. I originally fell in love with Lisa in Season 1 thanks to her antagonistic nature towards Whitney Rose and Heather Gay.

Lisa has a superpower that is often overshadowed. Somehow, the Sundance queen can make every conversation about her. The trait is probably disliked in real life, but for reality TV, it is hilarious to witness. Lisa isn’t malicious or flying off the handle and getting violent. In the four seasons she has been a housewife, she has solidified a spot at the top of my list as the most iconic.

Lisa Barlow lost her $60k ring

The girls’ trip to Palm Springs didn’t start off so smoothly, thanks to an accessory snafu. Somehow, while going to the bathroom, Lisa’s $60,000 ring slipped off her finger and was never to be seen again. In her confessional, she shared, “My ring… it is totally gone. I am pulling up my jeans, and I feel my ring start to slip off my finger, and I felt like I caught it, and then I looked, and I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh my ring is missing.’ I literally stayed in that bathroom for at least 45 minutes. What a sh*t way to start this trip.” Lisa had all the RHOSLC women and locals on their hands and knees looking for the ring.

Lisa was upset for an hour, but her co-star, Monica Garcia, grew tired of the complaining. While out to dinner, the one-hit wonder confronted Lisa about her lack of judgment regarding the constant complaining. Monica pointed out that Lisa couldn’t stop saying, “It’s my big one” or “the $60,000 ring.” Lisa tried to shut down the conversation by saying, “Noted.” In her confessional, she went further, adding, “When you can afford to buy a $58,000 ring, you’ll care about it too.” Watching rich people lose their minds is why most of us tune into the Real Housewives in the first place.

Lisa Barlow’s infamous hot mic moment

Lisa’s hot mic moment against Meredith Marks was savage. For Lisa, it was clearly a venting session about her close friend. Everyone has said things in anger at one point or another, but not many of us have microphones attached to our backs. The Bravo star was upset because she felt her friend of ten years had been more loyal to Mary Cosby than to her. After storming away from the table, viewers heard, “Meredith can go f*ck herself. I’m done with her because I’m not a f*cking whore, and I don’t cheat on my husband.”

Lisa went on to say, “Her and her dumb f*cking family that poses. Why don’t you own a house? Oh, wait, you can’t because your husband changes jobs every five minutes?” As the Cinco De Mayo party raged on, Lisa let loose, forgetting she had audio equipment attached to her, saying, ?? “F*ck you! That f*cking piece of sh*t garbage whore. I f*ckng hate her. She’s a whore. She’s f*cking half of New York. She can go f*ckherself.” The moment almost surpassed Joe Giudice’s “b*tch wife” comment about his wife while he was in Napa on a cast trip.

Lisa Barlow’s love of everything fast food

In Season 1 of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, viewers learn that Lisa is not the typical Mormon housewife who cooks for her family. Instead, she chose to use the drive-through for all three of her daily meals. Lisa greeted her son by saying, “Hi baby gorgeous! Wanna go to Wendy’s?” and we were all hooked. Lisa had no problem sitting in the drive-through lane as fans watched her go from Sonic to Taco Bell to Wendy’s to satisfy her family’s meal requests. She is also a lover of Diet Coke and unapologetically once said, “I’m going to grab a Kit-Kat and get ready for the day.”

Lisa has made sure to capitalize on her love of everything fast food. She is now a spokesperson for her beloved Wendy’s and pushes the Frosty and hot and crispy fries often. It’s safe to say they now know her at the drive-through. Undeniably, Lisa is a legend. Like the heroes and goddesses before her, her name will be written in the stars. With Season 5 fast approaching, fans will soon be given more gems from our fan favorite, and most likely, we will have to make a whole new list.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is currently streaming on Peacock.
