Lisa Ling made a brief return to The View this month — and she's really glad she doesn't have to do it full time anymore.

The journalist and television personality previously served as a co-anchor on the show from 1999 to 2002, but appeared as a guest panelist earlier this month.

Lisa says she had a "great time" during the weeklong hosting gig even though things got heated...and her co-host Joy Behar threw a little shade her way!

"I guest-hosted for a week, and I'm so glad I don't do it every day," Lisa said during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

She continued, "You really have to express your opinion so vociferously on that show, and in the age of social media, you’re just scrutinized so severely."

Lisa recalled how the first day she got in a debate with some of the ladies about how Joe Biden "should apologize to the American people" after calling Fox News' Peter Doocy a "stupid son of a bitch."

"They were saying, 'Well, he apologized. It's OK.' I said, 'No, that is not behavior becoming of a president.' And it was a little bit of a debate, and it got written up like, 'Lisa Ling is causing chaos on The View,'" she explained.

Lisa added that she was far from causing chaos on the show as she typically gets along with all of the women offscreen.

"I get along great with the women...although during a commercial break Joy did tell me that I was talking too much," Lisa revealed.

And even though she may have been talking too much by Joy's standards, she does believe she did a better job than when she first joined the show.

"It is really difficult to get a word in edgewise. I did a little better this time. I mean, I was 26 when I did the show the first time around. It was 20 years ago," Lisa said.
