Lisa Marie Presley turns 50, but she's been famous since day 1
People had mixed thoughts about seeing Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, front-rowing it up at the Grammy Awards on Sunday. She’s 6, in heels and fancy threads — shouldn’t she be off being a child? Instead, she’s an awards show pro, attending seven so far.
Welp, the world has long been fascinated with the children of celebrities. When we were thinking about Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis and Priscilla, turning 50 today, Feb. 1, we were struck by the fact that she’s been famous her entire life — pretty much every second. Lisa Marie has gone on to become a star in her own right — her 2003 debut album, To Whom It May Concern, went platinum — and the world has watched her every step of the way. On her milestone birthday, we look back at some of the most famous photos of her — from sweet moments with her superstar dad to her curious relationship with Michael Jackson.
