Lissie performs with opener Diana DeMuth at The Acorn in Three Oaks
THREE OAKS — Lissie performs with opener Diana DeMuth at 8 p.m. March 23 at The Acorn, 107 Generations Drive.
Lissie released her fifth studio album, the Americana-tinged indie folk album “Carving Canyons,” on Sept. 16.
Led by the sun-soaked single “Night Moves,” “Carving Canyons” is about looking within while dealing with the uncertainty of the future — finding hope in personal and worldly adversity, no matter what the forecast might say.
She co-wrote much of the album with a majority of female-identifying songwriters, including Bre Kennedy, Madi Diaz, Morgan Nagler, Natalie Hemby, Kate York and Sarah Buxton — who also contribute additional vocals throughout the album.
Her other studio albums include her debut, 2010’s “Catching a Tiger,” 2013’s “Back to Forever,” 2016’s “My Wild West” and 2018’s “Castles.” She’s also released two live albums, a compilation and several EPs.
DeMuth released her debut album, “Misadventure,” in 2020 and recently sang background vocals on The Lumineers’chart-topping album “Brightside.”
Tickets are $60-$35.
