KGF: Chapter 2
As mentioned above, Sanjay Dutt made his South Indian film industry debut with the hit film franchise KGF. He plays the role of Adheera in KGF: Chapter 2 against Yash’s Rocky. Furthermore, Prashanth Neel created the KGF universe with a number of diverse characters. Meanwhile, its plot revolves around a dreaded gangster, Rocky, who rose from the ground up to become the most powerful man. As he eliminates a dangerous villain in the first part, he is forced to face many more in its sequel.
Additionally, the movie also stars Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty, Easwari Rao, Anant Nag, Prakash Raj, and others. This movie’s box office collection was massive, and Sanjay Dutt received a lot of love for his role.
Jawan
Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster movie Jawan also had a special cameo by Sanjay Dutt. As Azad continuously works on his plan with his team, it is later revealed that it was Dutt’s Madhavan Nayak who was supporting him all along.

Leo
The Tamil movie Leo became Sanjay Dutt’s entry to Tamil cinema. Starring Vijay in the lead role, the film follows the story of a cafe owner caught in an identity crisis, as some believe he is a former drug lord. Dutt portrays the lead antagonist, who is the father of the protagonist, while Trisha and Arjun Sarja play supporting characters. Furthermore, Lokesh Kanagaraj co-wrote and directed the movie, which took the box office by storm.
Per Netflix, the movie’s official synopsis reads, “Violently pursued by criminals who insist he’s a former gangster, a humble cafe owner fights to shield his family — and the truth about his identity.”
Double iSmart
The upcoming movie Double iSmart is the official sequel to the 2019 film iSmart Shankar. Starring Ram Pothineni in the lead role, the movie is directed and co-produced by Puri Jagannadh. Sanjay Dutt is all set to make his Telugu debut with the upcoming film. He will portray the role of Big Bull against Pothineni’s Shankar. Its plot is set to revolve around an assassin (played by Dutt) who wants to achieve immortality by transferring his memories into Shankar. As he aims to succeed in this special experiment, the situation stages an intense altercation between Big Bull and Shankar.
The movie is slated to hit theaters on August 15, 2024. Also, it will compete with Ravi Teja’s Mr. Bachchan at the box office. Shot in Telugu, the movie will also be available to watch in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
KD – The Devil
Sanjay Dutt will be seen in another upcoming Kannada movie, KD: The Devil. Besides the Bollywood star, the movie also cast Dhruva Sarja, V Ravichandran, Shilpa Shetty, Ramesh Aravind, and others. The movie is currently in the works and will be released in November.
