Lori Loughlin Taken into Custody Over College Bribery Scandal

Lori Loughlin has surrendered to authorities in Los Angeles and is currently in custody as she waits for her first court appearance.

According to the U.S. Attorney, Loughlin was taken into custody Wednesday morning after traveling down from Canada, where she had been working.

The “Fuller House” star is scheduled to appear in federal court in Los Angeles Wednesday afternoon, where she will have a bail set by a judge. As we reported, her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, was hit with a $1 million bond after his appearance in court.

Loughlin has not made any comments on the charges against her family, and “Desperate Housewives” star Felicity Huffman, but she did deactivate her social media channels after U.S. officials issued a warrant for her arrest.
