Lorna Luft, Julie Benko bring best of Broadway, Hollywood to Shore
Hollywood royalty Lorna Luft, daughter of Judy Garland and producer Sid Luft, and Broadway wonderstudy Julie Benko ("Funny Girl," "Harmony") are teaming up to perform on Sunday, Sept. 15, at Bell Theater at Bell Works in Holmdel. The performance is sponsored by Axelrod Performing Arts Center.
"Lorna and Julie will take you on a journey from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood to the dazzling lights of Broadway. Expect a night filled with classic songs, heartwarming tales, and moments of pure delight. Whether you're a fan of the silver screen or the Great White Way, this concert promises to be a celebration of the best in entertainment," organizers say.

Luft first appeared at age 11 on her mother’s TV show, "The Judy Garland Show," alongside her siblings, Liza Minnelli and Joey Luft. She has performed on Broadway and beyond and television, and is an author and solo performer.
Benko had a breakout turn understudying Fanny Brice in "Funny Girl," and returned to Broadway to originate her first role in the Barry Manilow-Bruce Sussman musical "Harmony."
