Los Lonely Boys to play Fox Theater on Feb. 1

Sep. 27—How far is heaven? For Bakersfield, it's the distance to the Fox Theater, which will welcome Los Lonely Boys for a show on Feb. 1.

Brothers Henry, Jojo and Ringo Garza inherited the passion for making music from their father, Ringo Garza Sr., who performed with his own brothers in the 1970 and '80s.

This San Angelo, Texas, trio has performed together since the 1990s, bringing its bluesy "Texican rock & roll" sound to a wider audience.

The 2004 hit single "Heaven" propelled the band to stardom. The trio has sold 2.5 million records, won a Grammy, and received five more Grammy nominations in the span of its career.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., the show starts at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 1 at the theater, 2001 H St.
