A lot has changed on the 'Jersey Shore' reboot
Jersey Shore is back, but a lot has changed since the last time we saw the cast. For starters, the location. Jersey Shore: Family Vacation is in Miami, but much, much more is different.
One notable revision is the cast itself. Sammi decided not to join her old roomies, but Pauly D brought along a replacement: a doll he fixed with a voice box full of Sammi quotes. Not sure how long the doll is going to last, as Snooki and Deena tried to “drown” it in the pool.
Snooki and JWoww each have two kids, Pauly D has one, and Ronnie is about to join them in parenthood. He broke the news to Pauly D before the trip. Ronnie says he’s going to try to be good, i.e. not cheat on his soon-to-be baby mama, but we’ll see if he’s changed THAT much.
Maybe the biggest change of all is with Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, who claims to be living clean. He told Snooki and Deena, “At first it started out just drugs and alcohol for the last two years. And then I wanted to continue to better myself. So then I don’t drink, I don’t drug, I don’t smoke, I don’t lie, I don’t cheat, I don’t steal.” He’s also now the group’s designated driver. Or as he put it, “The Designation.”
But some things will never change. The rest of the cast clubbed it up and boozed it up, and Snooki fell down.
Jersey Shore: Family Vacation airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on MTV.
