Louisiana rapper Lil Boosie reacts to Kendrick Lamar headlining Super Bowl halftime show

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Baton Rouge rapper Lil’ Boosie, or Torrence Hatch, responded to the announcement of Kendrick Lamar performing for Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans in 2025.

According to a post made on X, formerly known as Twitter, Lil’ Boosie doesn’t respect the decision to allow Lamar to headline the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show.

“All y’all acting like y’all cool with how they playing it for the Super Bowl, ‘smh,'” said Boosie. “The most cultural city in the USA (New Orleans), its a smack in the face to every hip-hop legend from Louisiana.”

Boosie proceeded to mention Louisiana rappers Percy “Master P” Miller and Bryan “Birdman” Williams and stated, “This shows they never wanted y’all to kick in the door in the first place because they still tryna lock it.”
