Are Ashley & Tyler Still Together From Love Is Blind? The Reunion’s Shocking Update
Ashley and Tyler’s relationship in Love is Blind Season 7 started on a high note. The two really connected in the pods, and without ever disclosing physical attributes in any way, decided to get engaged. Once they finally saw each other, the chemistry seemed to be on point, with the couple happily heading for the Mexico getaway looking forward to the future.
During Mexico, there were some red flags, like Tyler warning Ashley that people who know him “in real life” would tell her he’s “not nice.” But Taylor explained that off as “Like, nah, I just wasn’t nice to y’all,” and Ashley seemed to take it in stride. “There’s nothing that no one can tell me,” Ashley said, to which Tyler responded, “You never know who comes out of the woodwork.”

The real problems started after Mexico, when – in a conversation that happened off-screen – Ashley found out Tyler had three kids. Tyler, however, claimed he was just a “sperm donor” and completely “uninvolved” in the kid’s life. Ashley seemed to take this in stride, and after thinking it through, decided she still wanted to continue on the Love is Blind experiment with Tyler.
And when it came to the wedding day, things didn’t change, with both saying “I do” and committing to each other. However, with recent revelations indicating Tyler might have lied about being a sperm donor, the question on fans minds is are Ashley and Tyler still together? Or did they go the way of Hannah and Nick, Alex and Tim, and Marissa and Ramses?
Are Ashley and Tyler from Love Is Blind season 7 still together?
The Love is Blind reunion provided a definite answer to this question, and despite the outside complications, the answer is very much yes. As for those complications, well… the mother of Tyler’s children, Bri Thomas, has previously explained the situation on Instagram, saying that Tyler was her best friend and initially donated his sperm so she and her ex-wife could start a family. Then the twins we conceived naturally. After she and her wife separated, Thomas claims Tyler helped co-parent the children.
Tyler’s version of the story wasn’t that far from that, though there was no comment on whether his youngest kids were convinced naturally. Instead, Tyler said he “helped a friend and her wife start a family,” but when the wife left his friend he “voluntarily” stepped in to help.
“There’s pictures of me around,” he acknowledged. “I played a part that became very shaky with a friend. There’s no rule books to this… but I do want to let people know Ashley knows all this. This is news to the world, this has never been news to us.”

He also added, “I don’t owe anyone an explanation but my wife… I’m good, we’re good, and I’m not gonna keep harping on it.”
For her part, Ashley also got to say her piece, telling Nick and Vanessa Lachey, “Who do you think has better insight on what’s going on? Social media or me? For people to imply that she was blindsided, she didn’t know, is insulting to my intelligence. For the record, this is something he never wanted to share on camera. I just didn’t feel like it would be an authentic experience or I could continue … if we didn’t [discuss this].”
There we have it. They’re together, Ashley knew and they lied for the camera. And considering the show filmed almost a year ago, it seems like if this was going to be the thing that broke them up, it already would have.
