Love Is Blind Season 7 Finale: Who Said ‘I Do?’ And Who Didn’t Even Make It to the Altar?
Well, Love Is Blind delivered the most uneventful season-ender of all time, with most of the couples breaking up ahead of Wednesday’s Season 7 finale. But because we have the commitment that the contestants seem to lack, let’s see this thing through and discuss how it all ended.
This season of the reality dating series looked much like seasons past: A group of singles met potential partners in adjoined rooms — called pods — in hopes that they might fall in love without the distraction of physical appearance. But there was a notable difference in the Washington D.C.-set Season 7 — contestants were transparent about their political ideologies.

Another major difference? A record number of engaged couples broke things off before even walking down the aisle. While we predicted few long-term matches among the Season 7 relationships, none of us could have imagined that only two pairs (!) would make it to the altar out of the initial seven that got engaged.
Heading into the finale, only three couples remained: Marissa and Ramses, Taylor and Garrett, and Ashley and Tyler. Below, we’re breaking down where each couple stands after the Love Is Blind Season 7 finale.
Marissa and Ramses
To quote Tyra Banks, “We were rooting for you! We were all rooting for you!” But to our disappointment, Marissa and Ramses called it quits in one of the most emotional breakups we’ve ever seen, just minutes into the finale. (Can we all agree that people with hearts as big as Marissa’s should no longer be cast on the show?!) Though the specifics of the breakup were uneventful — Ramses clearly just didn’t feel like they were the right fit — Marissa’s reaction to the news was… spirited? The tears, the screams, the dramatic crumpling to the ground was exactly how one might react to a real-life broken engagement — making me think this couple actually proved the experiment works despite not making it to the altar. The pair did fall in love — well, Marissa did, at least — so there you have it! Love can be blind, it just doesn’t always last a lifetime — or even a full 12 episodes of TV.
Taylor and Garrett
Taylor and Garrett’s journey to the altar was pretty drama-free, despite the show wanting us to think things got rocky over Garrett’s response to an Instagram message from an ex in Episode 10. But nothing was going to stop Garrett from saying “I do,” not even Taylor walking down the aisle in a knee-length pencil skirt that shared a silhouette with a feminine hygiene product. The pair read their vows and committed to their life together without a hitch — though we’re still left wondering how the cross-country move will go.
Ashley and Tyler
Tyler and Ashley’s relationship was also easy-going. We expected them to make it to the altar, and they got there! The pair both agreed to a life of love and happiness. But don’t be fooled: We are expecting a major update from these two at the Season 7 reunion — which streams Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 9/8c on Netflix — to address all the online rumors surrounding Tyler’s possible secret family.
Who are you excited to hear from at the reunion? Will love still be in the air for our married couples? Sound off in the comments!
