Crash My Playa's history

Bryan describes a decade of Crash My Playa as a "pinch me moment" that represents "hands down one of (his) favorite times on stage — period."

“Reaching the ten-year milestone for Crash My Playa is a testament to the incredible community of fans and artists who come together each year,” said Brett Keber, Partner at Playa Luna. “We’re honored to continue producing this one of a kind vacation experience with Luke in Mexico.”

"We're honored to continue delivering four nights of country music and a one of a kind vacation experience with Luke in Mexico."

Eight years, 10 No. 1 hits and 50 million singles sold into his mainstream country music career, Bryan's 2013-released "Crash My Party" was the fastest-rising release of his career. Extending a song celebrating the virtues of an impromptu "drop everything and drink" type of night with a four-day party event felt like a logical extension of a song into a brand.

From Jan. 23-27, 2015, alongside Florida Georgia Line and Cole Swindell, Bryan headlined a four-day and five-night beach party series at the Barcelo Riviera Mayaon Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula. Kelleigh Bannen, Dustin Lynch, Eric Paslay, DJ Rock and yes, Chris Stapleton — eventually a fellow Entertainer of the Year, but then the co-writer of his 2013 hit "Drink A Beer" — also appeared.

A desire for a singular mega beach concert led to then Philadelphia-based CID Entertainment's CEO and musical destination event organizer Dan Berkowitz to land on a set of Mexican resorts able to deliver what he referred to in 2015 as an "unforgettable, intimate event shared by good people in the sun and sand."
