Luke Grimes Songs — Here Are the 7 Best Tracks by the 'Yellowstone' Star Who Plays Kayce Dutton
Luke Grimes is a man of many talents. Aside from achieving top-tier cowboy hunk status for his role of Kayce Dutton on Yellowstone, the 40-year-old Ohio native has forged a new path as a musician, and it’s one we can’t get enough of. Outside of acting, the Yellowstone sweetheart has been focusing his energy on his music career. His debut single, “No Horse To Ride,” released in 2022 and could be heard soon after on an episode of his hit western series.
In 2023, he released his EP, Pain Pills or Pews, and in 2024 came his self-titled album. Ahead of the release of his EP, Grimes’ imposter syndrome regarding his entrance into the music industry was actually alleviated thanks to none other than country superstar Lainey Wilson, who appeared on the hit series Yellowstone as a musician named Abby.
“It was inspiring to watch Lainey step into those [acting] shoes,” he told Billboard in 2023. “As much as I was afraid that people would naturally be like, ‘What is this guy doing here?’,” he said of entering the music world, “I realized that no one on our set was like, ‘What is she doing here?’ Everyone was like, ‘She’s awesome and we’re glad she wants to do this.’ That took some of the fear away for me.’”
