Are you an avid golfer? Well, do we have the place for you.

The indoor Five Iron Golf venue opened in downtown Cincinnati this month, and we, of course, had to take a lunch break and try it ourselves.

My first impression? The technology is top-notch. You can see the exact spot on your club where you hit the ball. The simulator also gives you statistics, like ball speed, attack angle, spin rate and more.

But if you're not a golf geek and don't care about the analytics, you can simply have fun in the various game modes Five Iron offers. We played target practice similar to Top Golf but at our destination of choice, like atop buildings in a booming city or a Jurassic-themed environment. We also played a round on a regular – but very scenic – golf course. (I won.)

Interested in playing indoor golf? You can hit the virtual links (while also grabbing a bite to eat or a drink) at Five Iron Golf at 80 W. Fifth St., Downtown.

If you want a taste of what it's like first, check out the video from our TikTok above. Some of us went for fun. One person – Me. I'm the problem. It's me – took it too seriously.
