New M. Night Shyamalan thriller 'Caddo Lake' features Athens native Sam Hennings
Athens' own Sam Hennings is set to make waves in the entertainment world once again with his latest role in the chilling new movie "Caddo Lake."
"Caddo Lake" stars Dylan O'Brien and Eliza Scanlen. In the film, Hennings will play O'Brien's father.
The film will premiere on October 5 at Tribeca in New York City and will be available exclusively on MAX starting October 10.

Produced by M. Night Shyamalan, known for his work on "The Sixth Sense," this movie unfolds in the eerie landscapes of Louisiana, where an 8-year-old girl mysteriously vanishes. As the story unfolds, a series of past deaths and disappearances start to intertwine.

Hennings', 73, journey in the entertainment industry began in the 1980s when he decided to pursue acting full-time and moved from Athens to Los Angeles.
When talking about his recent movie "The Neon Highway," Hennings recalled, "I can remember as a child knowing exactly when I decided that I wanted to become, or try to become, an actor," he said. "I had no idea what that process was whatsoever."
