Madonna’s Longtime Guitarist, Monte Pittman, is Getting Divorced

Madonna‘s longtime guitarist, Monte Pittman, isn’t making sweet music with his wife any longer because she has filed for divorce from the rock star.

According to court records, obtained by The Blast, Lisa Pittman filed for divorce Tuesday in Los Angeles. Monte and Lisa have been married since 2004, and have f0ur young children together.

Pittman is best known for being Madonna’s guitarist, whom he met back in the early 2000s while giving guitar lessons in Los Angeles to Madonna’s then boyfriend, Guy Ritchie.

Ritchie bought Madonna a guitar, and she began taking lessons from Pittman. One month later, the guitarist was invited by Madonna to join her onstage at the “Late Show with David Letterman” to promote her album, Music.

Lisa has had some fame herself, she’s an actress whose credits include an episode of “Punk’d” and a short stint on “The Andy Dick Show.”
