Madonna rescheduled tour dates announced — Phoenix concert canceled. What to know
Madonna has canceled one of her two Phoenix dates on the rescheduled Celebration Tour.
The singer was originally scheduled to perform two nights at Footprint Center — July 22, 2023 and Jan. 20, 2024.
The tour was postponed in July as she continue to recover from a health scare that landed her in a New York City hospital's intensive care unit.
In rescheduling the tour, a small number of dates, including Jan. 20, 2024 at Footprint Center, were canceled altogether due to scheduling conflicts.
Other canceled dates are July 27 in Tulsa, Dec. 22 in Nashville, Jan. 15 in San Francisco and Jan. 18 in Las Vegas.
When is the new Madonna Celebration Tour date in Phoenix?
The July 22 concert was rescheduled for Saturday, March 16, 2024. Tickets for the previously scheduled concert will be honored on the new date.

Why did Madonna postpone her tour?
Madonna's Celebration Tour was set to launch in Vancouver, British Columbia, on Saturday, July 15, a week before the July 22 date in Phoenix.
Guy Oseary, the singer’s talent manager and producer, shared the news on social media in June that Madonna had developed "a serious bacterial infection" on Saturday, June 24, which led to "a several-day stay in the ICU."
A Page Six article reported that the singer "was found unresponsive and rushed to a New York City hospital Saturday," where she "was intubated for at least one night before having the tube removed — and she is now alert and recovering."
In an IG post, Madonna wrote, "My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children. My second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour."
Madonna's US tour will now begin in Brooklyn this December
The star's North American tour will now take place immediately following her originally announced UK and Europe dates.
The Celebration Tour will officially kick off with four sold out shows in London this October, followed by shows across Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands throughout the remainder of 2023.
The North American leg will begin on December 13 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Fans holding tickets to the previously scheduled and now canceled Madison Square Garden concert on Aug. 27, 2023, will have an exclusive opportunity to purchase tickets to the newly added Barclays Center performance on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2023. Tickets for the original show at MSG will be automatically refunded to the original purchaser by Monday, Aug. 28.
Ticketmaster will then provide all affected fans with a dedicated link and a unique code based on the quality of their previous seat locations to purchase tickets to the new date at Barclays Center.
Advance sales start Tuesday, Aug. 29 and run through Thursday, Aug. 31. If tickets remain, they will go on sale to the public starting at 10 a.m. ET on Friday, Sept. 1.
