Madonna’s Son David Is Following in His Mother’s Musical Footsteps in a Lucrative, Unique Way

Madonna is a musical legend, and now, one of her children is entering the music biz. But they’re entering it in a way you may not have expected. Instead of singing, Madonna’s son David is actually going into teaching music now.

Per Hello, he recently revealed that he’s starting his own business: selling private guitar lessons online for $200 an hour.

He said on Instagram via Hello, “Welcome to my online guitar class where everyone, from beginners, navigating their first chords to experienced musicians honing their craft, gather for a fun-filled jam session!”

This news comes after he performed as a guitarist and dancer on his mother’s Celebration Tour. And we’re so excited to see him work on this new business!

Now, David has been playing guitar for years now, frequently making headlines for his performances on stage and with his pals, which he’s shown on Instagram numerous times, per Newsweek. And now, he’s teaching! We’re sure Madonna is quite proud of her musical son.

For those who don’t know, Madonna has six children in total.

She welcomed her eldest daughter Lourdes, born on Oct 1996, with Carlos Leon back in 1996.

Then in 2000, she welcomed her son Rocco, born on May 1997, with her ex-husband John Ritchie. Madonna then adopted a son named David, born on Sept 2005, along with her three youngest daughters Chifundo “Mercy” James, born on Jan 2006, and twins Stella and Estere, born on Aug 2012.

In early 2023, the Four Rooms star revealed for Vanity Fair’s “Icon Issue” that motherhood “has been the most difficult, the hardest battle.” She added, “Today I am still struggling to understand how to be a mother and do my job. Whoever you are, having children and raising them is a work of art. No one gives you a manual. You have to learn from mistakes. It is a profession that requires a lot of time. And it is exhausting because there is never rest.”
