Mandy Moore and Jordin Sparks Go Complete Fangirl Over Each Other on ‘Today’

This is Us star Mandy Moore joined Today with guest host Jordin Sparks, and to say the two are fans of each other is putting it lightly. Toward the end of the interview, after covering all things This is Us, Sparks gushed over Moore, who in turn gushed right back. At some points it was nearly impossible to hear what was being said because both were talking so fast, trying to compliment the other. But when they slowed down and spoke one at a time, the compliments came across loud and clear.

“I remember, when I grew up, I would watch A Walk to Remember every day after school because I just loved you,” Sparks said, referencing Moore’s 2002 film, before breaking out into a song from the movie.

Moore, despite starting her music career at a very young age and having a successful acting career that’s lasted over 15 years, was more impressed with the fact that Sparks made it through an entire season of American Idol, winning Season 6 in 2007.
