Mandy Moore and Milo Ventimiglia reunite and pay homage to their “This Is Us” characters, baby bump included

Ventimiglia will appear on a future episode of the rewatch podcast "That Was Us," which Moore co-hosts with Sterling K. Brown and Chris Sullivan.

The Pearsons are back together again.

In a joint Instagram post from Mandy Moore and her This Is Us rewatch podcast That Was Us, the Walk to Remember star appeared alongside a very special guest: Milo Ventimiglia, who played her husband Jack on the NBC drama for six seasons.

In the photo, both actors are making faces nearly identical to a photo they took on the set of This Is Us — and Moore is sporting a real-life baby bump that fittingly parallels her prosthetic one from the shoot. Moore is currently pregnant with her third child, which she announced in May with a This Is Us reference: "Sometimes life imitates art. The third in our own Big Three coming soon."

Moore and the podcast also posted another photo of the actress and Ventimiglia in the recording studio with their former costars Sterling K. Brown and  Chris Sullivan, who cohost the pod with Moore. "Current plans: Recording a very special episode of #ThatWasUs with J?a?c?k? ?P?e?a?r?s?o?n? Milo Ventimiglia!!!" the caption reads.

Moore, Brown, and Sullivan launched That Was Us in May, following the tried-and-true rewatch podcast format by focusing on one episode of This Is Us per week, in chronological order. The trio is currently 13 episodes into the 18-episode first season, though they've also taken breaks to chat with series creator Dan Fogelman, Susan Kelechi Watson (who played Beth, the wife of Brown's Randall), and Jon Huertas (the actor behind Miguel, the second husband of Moore's Rebecca). With that in mind, it's likely that Ventimiglia's episode will be formatted as an interview rather than a breakdown of a particular This Is Us episode.

This is far from the first time that This Is Us cast members have reunited. In May, Ventimiglia celebrated his on-screen son Niles Fitch (young Randall Pearson) graduating from USC alongside Hannah Zeile (young Kate Pearson).

After the death of Ron Cephas Jones (William Hill) last summer, Moore shared a photo of herself alongside Brown, Sullivan, Watson, and Huertas at a restaurant. "Before the tears, we broke bread," Moore wrote. "I love this family forever. And we love you, Ron."

Moore, Huertas, and Chrissy Metz (Kate Pearson) also reunited on the SAG-AFTRA strike picket line last July. Before that, Moore, Metz, and Watson posted photos together the day after the one-year anniversary of the series finale in May 2023. "A year apart was just TOO long," Watson wrote.
