This summer, the Seacoast has been a bit of a hotspot for celebrity sightings.

From Kittery to York, celebrities have been spotted stopping by the Seacoast to try out the local seafood, visit the beautiful beaches and even meet fans.

Neil Patrick Harris

Harris, an award-winning actor known for "How I Met Your Mother" and "A Series of Unfortunate Events," stayed in Kittery with husband David Burtka in July.

He was seen having lunch with friends at Frisbee’s Wharf, an outdoor waterfront restaurant in Pepperrell Cove. According to employees of the restaurant, Harris ordered a margarita and a haddock sandwich, and Burtka had a lobster roll.

Lady Gaga

This popstar visited York in June for her sister's wedding, in which she was the maid of honor. The wedding took place at the Viewpoint Hotel, where Lady Gaga, whose legal name is Stefani Germanotta, enjoyed a seaside room and a view of Nubble Lighthouse.

During her stay, Lady Gaga stopped by Dunne's Ice Cream on Nubble Road. Owner Steve Dunne reported that she ordered chocolate walnut ice cream.

Martha Stewart

Martha Stewart visited two Kittery restaurants back in May. According to Stewart's social media, she ordered chowder and oysters at Robert's Maine Grille, and fried clams and scallops at Bob's Clam Hut. The television cook and businesswomen recommended both places to her social media followers, saying "You will love these eateries! Good food, great ambiance, lovely service."

Stewart's iconic estate, Skylands, is located on Mount Desert Island overlooking Seal Harbor.

The legendary boxer made a guest appearance at East Coast Cannabis in Eliot for a meet-and-greet and photoshoot this past Friday, Aug. 16. The local dispensary is partnered with Tyson's company of cannabis products, TYSON 2.0.
