Maren Morris Shares Major Personal Update Months After Finalizing Divorce

In honor of Pride Month, Maren Morris had a major personal update for fans, slyly revealing the news with a casual social media post celebrating a recent performance in Phoenix, Arizona.

The "Dancing With Myself" singer took to Instagram on June 9 to share snaps from the concert, with Morris rocking a black bra with a ruffled sheer white top over it as she took over the stage. In a few of the snaps, Morris held up a Pride flag in front of the crowd.

"PHOENIX, AZ. happy to be the B in LGBTQ+. happy pride ??," she wrote in the caption, tagging Muriel Margaret as the photographer. The surprise update from Morris comes only months after her divorce from ex Ryan Hurd was finalized.

Fans were in full support of the 34-year-old, with comments like, "Happy pride, an actual icon ??????," "IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU ?????? I love you!," and "we love a bi queen ??????????."

"HAPPY PRIDE!!!!! thanks for being an inspiration and what a special pride this one is ????????," wrote another, as someone else declared, "oh maren, i’m so god damn proud of you. love you to the moon & back a million trillion times ???????."

Scott Hoying of Pentatonix commented, "Love you so much Maren!!!!!! ??????," while G Flip said, "??????????."

The support went on, with many who were in attendance at the Phoenix show also commending her on a fantastic performance. Morris is currently touring North America, with her next few stops in Colorado, California and Michigan, among other places.

Morris has always been a vocal supporter of the LGBTQ+ community. In 2022, she raised over $100,000 for GLAAD’s Transgender Media Program and Trans Lifeline while selling merch referencing a comment from Tucker Carlson calling Morris a "lunatic" after she called out Brittany Aldean for her transphobic joke.
