Margot Robbie has been THAT GIRL in some of Hollywood's biggest movies over the last few years.
So when she appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show and said she works with a movement coach to channel animals for her biggest movie roles — I was intrigued but not surprised.
“I didn’t go to drama school so I don’t know if this is something everyone does in drama school,” Margot said. “But it’s something I discovered after, it’s something I actually started doing when I was on I, Tonya.”
For I, Tonya, she said she channeled a pit bull because "they're very misunderstood." She added that she has a pit bull and loves them, so she identified with the canine to feel "heavy on her feet" and "like the world was, like, bearing down on her all the time."
For her most recent role as Nellie LaRoy in Babylon, Margot said she channeled an "octopus and a honey badger."
Then Kelly Clarkson and Margot went back and forth about how aggressive and carefree honey badgers are. “There are videos of honey badgers fighting snakes. There’s videos of honey badgers, which aren’t huge animals, fighting lions. And they have really thick skin, and they’re insane.”
