Maria Menounos Got Engaged on Howard Stern Because Attention Is a Sweet, Sweet Drug

After dating for 17 years, Maria Menounos got engaged to her boyfriend/business partner, Keven Undergaro, Wednesday while she was making an appearance on The Howard Stern Show. After all, if a reality star falls in the forest and there’s not a camera there to record it, did it ever really fall at all?
The Stern Show’s Instagram account broke the news, sharing photos of the couple’s engagement.
Menounos and Undergaro were talking with Stern about marriage when he got down on one knee. She did, sort of, ruin the moment.
Stern: I’m going to give the microphone to Maria’s longtime boyfriend. He wants to say something.
Undergaro: You know I do, and uh, it’s been so long…
Menounos: Are you about to propose to me? I’m going to die.
Undergaro: No.
He lied.
“Although I said that this isn’t a proposal,” Undergaro said, “I want to ask you something: Maria, would you make me the happiest man on earth, and would you marry me?”
She said yes. Hopefully she did not lie.
