Mariah Carey Volunteers to Be the Face of Female Resistance Against Tucker Carlson, Other ‘Angry Men’
Mariah Carey doesn’t have any qualms being the face of the female resistance against all the angry men trolls out there.
The pop star came to the support of Teen Vogue writer Lauren Duca after Duca wound up the subject of a recent rant by Tucker Carlson to close his Fox News show.

Carlson took aim at Duca after Hillary Clinton wrote a letter applauding the writer for fighting to make the internet a better place for women. Carlson and Duca have previously clashed and he thoroughly objected to this suggestion, attacking her as a writer and stating that “the internet is unfriendly to everybody.”
Luca responded to Carlson’s segment, tweeting, “This is actually insane?” That message received backing from Lena Dunham, who replied I have had to invoke Mariah Carey a lot over the years when it comes to angry men: ‘why you so obsessed with me?'”
Duca sent Dunham a Mariah Carey “I don’t know her” GIF in response and then Carey got in on the fun, replying to both with support. “Feel free to invoke me anytime #girls!” she said with a GIF of herself blowing a kiss.
As one does when a icon such as Carey notices you, Dunham tweeted out of disbelief, “This is not a drill. @laurenduca I repeat this is not a drill. MARIAH.”
