Mario Lopez Says He’d Do a ‘Saved by the Bell’ Reunion
On The Talk, Mario Lopez let it be known that he’d be down for the gang from Bayside High to get back together. Kelly Kapowski, Lisa Turtle, Jessie Spano, A.C. Slater, Screech, and Zack Morris all on the screen together again may seem like a dream, but Lopez is the second cast member to say he’d do it, so we’re almost one-third of the way there.
Aisha Tyler broached the subject by telling Lopez that Elizabeth Berkley recently expressed interest in doing so, and Lopez said he would under one condition.
“Only if I can rock my mullet again,” Lopez said. “I’ve been trying to bring back the mullet.”
Lopez had other reasons he’d do a reunion besides the opportunity to bring back that rockin’ mullet.
“I had such a great time working on the show, and I have nothing but great memories, and I got along with everybody. I would definitely be open to it,” Lopez said.
